For manufacturers

Looking for a Benelux partner?

We represent a small number of maritime equipment manufacturers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Not as a catalogue reseller, but as the technical and service organisation that carries your product in this market.

What you get from us

A representation agreement is worth what the representative actually does. Here is what we put behind a line.

01

Access to the people who specify

Newbuild yards, refit yards, owners and operators, workboat and dredging fleets, and naval programmes. Relationships that predate any of us, in a market small enough to cover properly.

02

Technical sales, not order taking

Application engineers who size and select your equipment and can defend that selection to a chief engineer. Your product gets explained correctly, which is the part manufacturers usually lose in distribution.

03

Service and spare parts on the ground

Our own service organisation and stock in the Netherlands. Commissioning, maintenance, overhaul and the emergency spare, handled here rather than escalated to you.

04

A company that will still be here

Trading since 1885, privately held, with principal relationships measured in decades rather than quarters. Your appointment does not evaporate at the next ownership change.

What makes a good fit

We would rather establish this in ten minutes than after a year of polite emails.

A good fit

  • Maritime equipment manufacturers without Benelux representation, or unhappy with the coverage they have
  • Products that need engineering and after-sales, not just a price list
  • Lines that complement what we already carry rather than compete with it
  • Manufacturers willing to invest in joint technical training

Probably not us

  • Commodity items sold on price alone
  • Products that compete directly with a principal we already represent
  • Manufacturers looking for a warehouse address rather than a partner
  • Sectors outside marine and industrial process equipment

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

  1. 1. Introduction

You tell us the product and the market you want covered. We tell you honestly whether it sits well beside what we carry.

  2. 2. Portfolio and conflict check

We check for channel conflict against our existing principals before anything else. If there is a clash we say so immediately.

  3. 3. First projects

We take your product into live enquiries and quote it. You see how we sell it and we see how it lands here, before either side signs anything.

  4. 4. Representation agreement

Territory, terms, stock, training and service arrangements in writing. Then we build the line properly.
